The SmartArx Wireless PIR detects intruder movement by identifying changes in infrared heat signatures, transmitting an immediate wireless signal to the SmartArx Icon Advanceor SmartArx Icon 8alarm panels to initiate the appropriate alarm response. Continuous two-way supervision between the detector and the panel ensures communication integrity is maintained at all times. Upon detection, the panel acknowledges the event and activates the configured alarm response based on the active system mode. Powered by a long-life battery with an operational lifespan of up to two years, the unit is engineered for low-maintenance deployment. Low-battery status and communication-loss conditions are automatically reported to the panel and pushed directly to your device via the SmartArx Alarm Managerapp, enabling proactive maintenance and uninterrupted system performance across all monitored zones.
