The SmartArx Alarm Manager App puts full control of your security system in your pocket. Like all professional alarm applications, it covers the essentials — remote arming and disarming, real-time push notifications, event logging, and 24-hour system monitoring. But SmartArx goes further, offering a range of intelligent features not commonly found in other alarm systems.
Chime Mode keeps predefined zones active while you rest, without the risk of a jarring siren activation. When a zone triggers, a gentle buzzer alerts you first, giving you 60 seconds to assess the situation and decide how to respond before the siren activates and your armed response provider is notified.
The app manages up to 6 users, each with fully customisable access permissions. Individual remotes are uniquely identified, creating a precise log of who accessed which area and when. Users can be restricted to specific days, assigned zone-specific access, or temporarily deactivated without being removed.
In addition to the 6 individual user profiles, up to 30 specialised 6-button keyring remotes can be programmed with custom functions, independently assigning each button to control specific partitions, zones, garage doors, gates, or outdoor lighting — all manageable from a single pocket-sized device.
All system messages and notifications are fully customisable in any language or preferred terminology. Receive tailored alerts for partition status, zone activity, and automated bypass events, such as the automatic override of an open door, ensuring every notification is immediately clear and actionable.
Auxiliary inputs extend the system beyond intrusion detection. Depending on the transmitting device customisable alerts can also be configured to the system for example, custom panic triggers, or high and low threshold alerts for temperature sensor monitoring, water tank level monitoring, and more.
High-current auxiliary outputs enable the remote switching of certain environment, for example switching pumps and lights on and off. Lights can be programmed to a custom weekly on/off schedule via the app. Individual partitions can also be assigned dedicated siren responses, allowing tailored alarm behaviour across different areas of a property.
Each wireless zone can be assigned a custom description and individually deactivated without removal from the system. Zones are independently configurable in stay-on or stay-off modes with custom trigger messages. Door guards can additionally be programmed to function as remote controls for added convenience.
For installations using SmartArx Wired Expanders, the app provides direct management of two inputs and two outputs per expander panel. Partitions, operating modes, and notification messages are all configurable remotely, maintaining complete control over wired infrastructure from within a single application.
